Näin muutama kuukausi sitten dokumentin Amy Winehousesta ja sain taas todeta, että tässä on jälleen artisti jonka merkityksen olen ymmärtänyt liian myöhään.
Dokumentti oli surullinen. Winehousen ura on surullinen. Lahjakas nuori nainen, huumeaddikti, bisneksen lypsylehmä, mielenterveysongelmia, paparazzien saartama, traaginen loppu.
Dokumentti oli joiltain osin hieman hämärä, en oikein kunnolla ymmärtänyt Winehousen perhesuhteita. Perhesuhteet taisivat kuitenkin olla aika isossa osassa.
Erikoinen ääni likalla kyllä oli. Aivan omanlaisensa. Dokumentin nähtyäni tajusin myös Rehab biisin merkityksen paremmin vaikka jo biisin julkaisun aikaan tiesin, että Winehouse kirjoitti paljon omasta elämästään. Pidin myös tästä biisistä kun se tuli, vaikka muuten Winehouse ei kiinnostanut vielä silloin.
Vielä jonain päivänä kuuntelen levyllisen tätä mielenkiintoista naista.

Few months ago I saw document of Amy Winehouse and yet again I found out that, here's an artist who's meaning I have found too late.
The document was sad. The whole career of Winehouse is sad. Talented young woman, drug addict, cash cow in business, mental problems, surrounded by paparazzi, tragic end.
The document was quite unclear in some parts, I didn't really understand the family relationships of Winehouse. Although, I think they were in quite big role.
The girl had a strange voice. Unique. After seeing the document I also realised even better the meaning behind this song Rehab than when it was released when I already new that Winehouse was writing about her own life. I liked this song then even though I didn't listen Winehouse otherwise and it didn't interest me then.
Someday, I'm going to listen a whole album of this interesting woman.
