Tätä biisiä kuunnellessa tekee mieli taas katsoa Hopeanuoli.
Hopeanuoli on ollut yksi lempisarjoistani kautta aikojen. Tutustuin Hopeanuoleen jo 90-luvulla leikattuina neljän VHS:n sarjana. Katsoimme naapurini/parhaan ystäväni kanssa VHS:sät melkein puhki :D Kaksi ensimmäistä löytyi kummeiltani ja ne olivatkin usein minulla lainassa. Sitten löysin kolmannen sattumalta videovuokraamosta ja neljännen löysin jopa kaupasta ja ostin sen itselleni. Leikimme myös paljon Hopeanuolta. Yleensä tosin ystäväni oli Hopeanuoli ja minä olin sitten Riki.
Tuolloin en vielä tiennyt mikä on anime ja että suomeksi dubatut Hopeanuolet olivat leikattuja versioita japanilaisesta 21 jakson sarjasta Ginga Nagareboshi Gin. Olimme kyllä kovasti ihmetelleet ystäväni kanssa VHS:ien epäloogisuuksia ja olimmekin keksineet omia selityksiä oudoille katoamisille tai kuolemille. Varsinkin 4. VHS on kaikkein hämärin, siitä on niin paljon leikattu koirien ja karhujen kuolemia pois että loppu oli erittäin omituinen. Selitimme Rikin kuoleman sillä, että vanhat arvet aukesivat (?). Emmekä voineet käsittää missä välissä Akatora kuoli saati sitten Benitsakura. Tai miten ihmeessä kokonainen karhuarmeija kaatui niin nopeasti ja jäljellä oli vain Akakabuto.
Noh, nyt tiedän syyn ja toki leikkaamattomat täydelliset japaninkieliset sarjat on hankittu itselle ja katsottu muutaman kerran (liian vähän). On minulla toki DVD:nä myös vanhat leikatut ja dubatutkin versiot, ihan vain nostalgian takia. Ne dubbauksetkin kun vain ovat legendaarisen huonot että ne ovat nykyään jo hyviäkin xD Alkuperäiset nähtyäni ymmärrän kyllä miksi Suomeen näitä hieman leikeltiin (vaikkakin jäi sinne kauheita kohtauksia siltikin, parista on traumoja xD). Mutta virhearvio tuli oikeastaan jo heti kättelyssä kun tätä sarjaa luultiin lapsille tarkoitetuksi. Kyse ei todellakaan ole lasten animaatiosta vaikka siinä söpöjä puhuvia koiria onkin.
Tämä biisi on todella kaunis, ja siitä luonnollisesti tulee tunnemuisti mieleen jos toinenkin.

While listening this song I would like to watch Silver Fang again.
Silver Fang was one of my favourite series at all times. I got to know Silver Fang in 90's from four cut and dubbed VHS's. We watched the VHS with my neighbour/friend almost through :D The first two I found from my godparents and most of the time I borrowed them. Then I found the third one from the video rental by accident and finally I found the fourth one from store and I purchased it for myself. We also played a lot Silver Fang with my friend. Most of the times my friend was Silver Fang so I had to be Riki.
At that time I knew nothing about anime and that the dubbed Silver Fang's were cut versions from Japanese tv series with 21 episodes called Ginga Nagareboshi Gin. Of course we had wondered with my friend why the VHS's were so illogical at times and we had made our own explanations for the odd disappearances and deaths. Especially the fourth VHS was the most dim, there's so much cutting off dog's and bear's deaths that the ending is very bizarre. For example we explained Riki's death that his old wounds opened (?). And we couldn't just understand how suddenly Akatora and Benitsakura were dead. Or how the hell the whole bear army could fell so quickly and then there was only Akakabuto left.
Well, now I know the reason and of course I now have the uncut perfect Japanise series as my own and I've watched the few times (too few). But of course I still have those cut and dubbed versions on DVD too, just because of the nostalgia. The dubbing is so bad that it's quite legendary now and quite good xD After seeing the originals I do understand why they cut the series for Finland (although, there's still very raw scenes which gave me some traumas xD). But the first error estimate was that this series was thought to be children's animation. It's definitely not a children's series even thought there's cute dogs that talk.
This song is very beautiful and naturally it has a memory of feeling and another.
