52. biisi on Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumours

Oikeastaan tutustuin tähän biisiin Gregorianin coverin kautta. En muista tosin miten ylipäänsä tutustuin Gregorianiin mutta heidän levyjään minulta löytyy melkein kaikki ja olen kuunnellut heitä paljonkin ja kuuntelen mielelläni edelleen.

Tämä biisi kuuluu jälleen lukion angstibiiseihin. Myös tässä biisissä, kuten Maija Vilkkumaan Eissä, minua kiehtoo tarina biisissä. Tuo pieni lyhytelokuva jonka löysin biisistä on upea!

Erityisesti pidän biisin kertosäkeestä joka puhuttelee kyllä todella: En haluaisi laittaa alulle rienaavaa huhua mutta luulen, että Jumalalla on kieroutunut huumori ja kun kuolen, oletan löytäväni hänet nauramassa. 

Kieroutunut huumorintaju ainakin Jumalalla on, jos biisin tarinaa miettii ja elämää ylipäänsä. 

Depeche Mode ei ole minulle muuten kovin tuttu bändi mutta toki tiedän muitakin heidän hittejään.

52nd song is Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumours

Actually, I got to know this song through the cover by Gregorian. I really can't remember how I even found Gregorian but I have almost all of their albums and I've listened them a lot and still listen them with pleasure. 

This songs belongs to those angst songs which I listened back in the high school. Like in the song Ei by Maija Vilkkumaa, I like the story in this song. That little short movie which I found made from the songs is amazing!

Especially I like the chorus of this song which really speaks to me: I don't want to start any blasphemous rumours, but I think that God's got a sick sense of humour, and when I die, I expect to find Him laughing. 

I'm sure God has at least a sick sense of humour if you think the story of this song and life at all.

Depeche Mode isn't familiar band for me but of course I know their other hits too.
