170. Moving Breath - Triple Goddess Chant

170. biisi on Moving Breath - Triple Goddess Chant

Kuten aikaisemmin kerroin, olin kiinnostunut wiccalaisuudesta ja oikeastaan noidista ja luonnonuskonnoista muutenkin joskus nuorempana. Toki edelleenkin noidat ja kaikki mystiikka kiinnostaa. Haluaisin uskoa, että maailmassa on magiaa.

Wiccalaisuutta on aikoinaan pidetty saatananpalvontana (niinkuin vähän kaikkea muutakin) vaikka oikeastaan wiccalaisuus on yksi rauhanomaisista "uskonnoista" maailmassa.

Tein joskus aikoja sitten ihka oman lemmentaiankin. Ei se kyllä toiminut. En tehnyt sitä itselleni vaan yhdelle kaverilleni. Taitaa ns. "taikakalu" olla edelleen tallessakin.

Noihin aikoihin kuitenkin kuuntelin paljon mystistä musiikkia. Artemis on neito, Hecate muori.

---------------------------------------------------

170th song is Moving Breath - Triple Goddess Chant

Like I said earlier, I was interested in Wiccanism and witches and animistic religious in general when I was younger. Of course, I'm still interested of witches and everything mystic. I would like to believe that there is magic in the world.

Also Wiccanism has thought to be Devil worship (like almost everything else) although, Wiccanism is one of the most peaceful "religion" in the world. The basic doctrine is that if you do good or bad you will get it back in double. There's lot of rituals and mystic in Wiccanism and that's what interested me and still does. I'm just too lazy to practice any religion. Luckily, in Wiccanism, like in many other religion, participating is voluntary. There is some gatherings made for those who practice Wiccanism but you can practice the "religion" all by yourself too and do only the things that are most natural to you. Respect of nature and different goddesses is central in Wiccanism. The main aim is to do good but of course there are some of those who use Wiccanism for evil. But then you need to keep in mind that even the evil deeds will come back to you in double.

Years ago I even made my own love spell. It didn't work though. I didn't do it for myself but for my friend. I think I still have the "charm" somewhere.

At that time I also listened lot of mystic music. I was interested in Celtic music among the others and also the Finnish folk songs, spell songs etc. I even tried to read Kalevala but it was still too much at that time. I don't have a clue how I found this Triple Goddess Chant. Actually, I found out the performers today when I found this song. In the song there's three goddess which are so called main "deities" for many Wiccans too (like in many other neopaganism religions), Maiden, Mother and Crone. These three are reflecting the phases in women's lives and also the phases of moon. Wiccanism is strongly religion of women but there are some men who practice it too. In the song there's mentioned two Greek goddesses by name: Artemis and Hecate. Artemis is maiden, Hecate Crone. In addition there's Selene who is the Mother.

Still these things fascinates me and maybe I should continue on what I started a long time ago. I was going to introduce myself better into Wiccanism by literature but I never really read anything because I was a bad reader back then. Although, I don't think I'm going to be Wiccan anymore. I'm even more lazy nowadays to do the rituals. But if I should practice some religion I think I could manage to practice old Finnish folk religion. Although, I won't make an altar for my ancestors but I can respect the nature and remember elves with gifts now and then.
