26th song is Lady Marmalade
This song deserves three different versions.
I love the movie Moulin Rouge and that's where I first got introduced to this song.
The first Youtube video is the cover from the movie performed by Christina Aquilera, Lil'Kim, Mya and Pink. In Spotify there's the same song but in Thunderpuss Radio Mix version and the last is performed by Labelle. Actually, the group called Eleventh Hour was the first which recorded this song but Labelle was the one which made it well known on 1974.
When I want to feel sexy I'll put this song on and dance. Or at least I try to be sexy. I don't really know how I look in real life. But I'm imagining to be at least as sexy as those girls on the first video.
I love the attitude Christina, Lil'Kim, Mya and Pink has in the video! I would also like to perform this songs with those outfits, with that attitude and of course with that kind of voices! Because of Moulin Rouge I started to get interested on Burlesque, although I didn't really knew the name for the art form back then when I first saw the movie. I would also like to make my own character and perform with it. But I still need some more courage. I've already been a Domina in one music play and I loved it!
I was introduced to Labelle's version because it was in our singing group's, Vocal!, repertoire in 2015. Unfortunately, I didn't get to perform this song properly because I was away on that autumn term when it was properly in our repertoire. Sirja Lepistö even did a wonderful choreography for it!
